Spring Basketball Registration 2023:

(*Side Note Spring Registration will go up to 11th grade. Please disregard Flyer**) Thanks for choosing Mississippi Play Sports Spring Basketball League 2023. You definitely made the right choice! This season we will provide your child a fun and safe environment as well as basic fundamentals of the game. We also have individual training available for first time for players and kids that are less experienced. The Program provides (2) locations for your convenience. Gym locations are MBA 2240 Westbrook road Jackson, MS 39211 and F-5 202 River Pines Cove Flowood, MS 39232. Please fill out the proper registration form below 👇👇👇👇 Once your registration form is submitted you will receive a Payment invoice within 48 hours. LAST SEASON over 1,000 kids participated. This Session Will Sell Out Fast! DEADLINE Feb. 24th. 9pm. or once will fill our maximum capacity. Evaluations will be Monday March 6th at MBA 5:45 pm 1st-4th grade boys and girls and 7:00 pm 5th-HS boys and girls. F-5 Evaluations will be Tuesday March 7th at 5:45 pm 1st-4th boys and girls and 7:00 pm 5th-HS boys and girls. See ya soon!

Rules: Bronze Division-G

-Game times will be 14 minute running clock halves. Regulation time will begin the last minute of each half.

-Overtime will result in a shootout between (2) selected players from each team.

-Teams must play defense inside the 3 point arc until the last 2 minutes of each half.

-Teams will shoot 1 and 1 on all fouls committed within the last 2 minutes of each half. No team or personal fouls are counted for this age.

-Coaches are granted 4 timeouts per game.

-Forfeiture will be enforced when a team does not have at least 4 players dressed and ready to play within a reasonable time frame. The League Director will record a score of 15-0.

-Teams will play with a 27.5 size regulation basketball. Rim size 9 feet

Rules: Silver Division-

Game times will be 15 minute running clock halves. Regulation time will begin the last (2) minutes of each half.

-1st Overtime will result in a (2) minute regulation period. Each team will be awarded 1 timeout each. No carryover! 2nd Overtime will be Sudden death.

-Teams must play defense inside halfcourt line until the last 2 minutes of each half.

-Teams will shoot 1 and 1 on all fouls committed within the last 2 minutes of each half. No team or personal fouls are counted for this age.

-Coaches are granted 4 timeouts per game.

Game times 16 minutes running clock halvese Regulation Game time: last 2 minutes if each half

All non shooting fouls will result in 1 plus 1 free throw. Individual fouls are kept and players will foul out after committing the 5th personal foul.

Teams are awarded 2 time-outs per half.

-Girls Teams will play with a 28.5 size regulation basketball. Boys 29.5R

-Regular play no RESTRICTIONS!
