Our one day shootout has grown tremendously and we are looking forward to expanding even more! Cost is $80 per team. You will play 2 quality games with certified officials. Games are called under the National Federation of High School State Rules.
Each team is allowed two adult coaches bands. No more than three adults can be on the bench during game time. Additional coaches will have to pay regular admission. The tournament director will provide a clock operator. Home team provides bookkeeper and game ball. HOME team is listed first on schedule
All games will be played as followed:
Game times will be played in 18 minute running clock halves. Clock will stop the last minute of each half.
All girls and boys grades 6th and below will play with the 28.5 intermediate basketball. Boys grades 7th and above will play with balls that are 29.5.
Each team will be awarded 2 timeouts per half with no carryover. One additional time-out per team will be awarded for the first overtime period. Timeouts from the game will not carry over to overtime.
*First Overtime will consist of a 1 minute regulation period. Second overtime is Sudden death. First team to score 1 POINT. NO TIMEOUTS AWARDED!
Halftime will be 2 minutes. Pregame warm-ups will be at least 3 minutes. Time may be changed at the discretion of the site director only. Otherwise all games will begin at the scheduled gametime.
Single bonus 1 PLUS 1 will begin after the 7th foul is committed in a half. NO DOUBLE BONUS!
Forfeiture 5 minute grace period after game time. At least 4 players in full uniform. The tournament director however can override this rule.
Each team is responsible for their own warm-ups balls. Home teams will provide game balls. We are NOT responsible for lost items!
Only head coaches are allowed to challenge the legitimacy or eligibility of an opposing player. Fans, parents, and assistant coaches are not allowed to make an official challenge. The fee for submitting an official challenge is $100 cash and will be refunded if challenge is upheld.
Players must be in full uniform before entering the gym
Saturday- Youth $5, Regular $10
